Also on March 14, it became known about the death of People’s Artist of the RSFSR, head of the Moscow Classical Ballet Theater, Natalia Kasatkina, who was 89 years old. The date and place of farewell are still unknown.

Natalia Kasatkina was born on June 7, 1934 in Moscow. In 1953, she successfully graduated from the Moscow Choreographic School (now the Moscow State Academy of Choreography).

From 1954 to 1976, she became famous for her performances at the Bolshoi Theater, performing roles such as Besnovataya in the ballet “The Rite of Spring” by Igor Stravinsky, as well as Rock in “Carmen Suite” by Georges Bizet-Rodion Shchedrin, and many others on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater.
