This week, two lunar missions finished at once – Japanese and American. If the Japanese device managed to reach the lunar surface, then with the American lunar module Peregrine from Astrobotic Technology, everything is much worse. It missed the Moon, returned to Earth and burned up in the dense layers of the atmosphere. The American apparatus was not without mysticism. His unfortunate fate was predicted by the Navajo Indians. The channel “Future Land” wrote about this.

The Indians were outraged that on board the private lunar spacecraft were the DNA of several famous people: science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke, US Presidents George Washington, Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy, as well as the ashes of the creator of the space series Star Trek Gene Roddenberry, actress Nichelle Nichols, who played in this series.

The Navajo Indians were against the idea of ​​human remains leaving the Earth to end up on the Moon. Indians worship the moon. Therefore, in their opinion, burying human remains on the Moon would desecrate their sacred symbol.

In the end, it turned out that human remains underwent repeated and final cremation above the Earth. And the space agency NASA, by the way, announced that in the future it will consult with Indian tribes about space missions.
