The expert warned about the unnoticed debiting of money by mobile services

Paid applications can quietly withdraw money from a user’s account without his noticing, said Viktor Gulevich, director of the T1 Integration information security competency center.
In a conversation with the Prime agency, he noted that this can happen even after the applications themselves are deleted. At the same time, according to him, such applications are not considered malicious, since they do not steal personal data and do not eavesdrop on conversations.
At the same time, these applications, under the guise of “unique features,” are guaranteed to bring additional costs, which are unnecessary in most cases.
Gulevich noted that such applications often offer “full or extended functionality” instead of the limited functionality in the free version, but in fact, such “functionality” does not contain anything special.
The expert pointed out that simply deleting such an application for debiting funds will not be enough, and you will have to cancel the subscription in the account management section, otherwise the debiting of funds will be regular.
