Fraudsters can steal money from bank deposits through a smartphone, using special programs, Pavel Myasoedov, director of the IT-Reserve company, said in an interview with the Prime agency.
He noted that mobile applications of banks are often attacked. According to the expert, Android smartphones are susceptible to attacks by keylogger viruses, which scammers use to steal passwords. There are also viruses – Trojans that allow criminals to control a smartphone and perform certain actions on behalf of the user.
He noted that attackers will try in every possible way to obtain a password or code, and for this they will use mailings, as well as fake banking programs.
He recommended carefully studying the recommendations of banking institutions, using antivirus programs and installing additional protection on applications.
