There is a direct connection between tattoos and oncology, the doctor and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov said on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.
He noted that a tattoo can provoke the onset and development of cancer. This is due to the composition of dyes, which include salts of heavy metals – carcinogens, which cause the most unpleasant consequences, at best, allergies, at worst, cancer.
In addition, in the presence of tattoos, the passage of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can deliver discomfort. The tattooed place may feel a burning sensation, this is due to the fact that the dye molecules will enter into resonance under the influence of the apparatus.
Back tattoos are especially dangerous for women who plan to have a child. According to him, such patients are sometimes given spinal anesthesia due to the fact that the needle can get into the tattoo area and bring paint to the cerebrospinal fluid at the tip of the needle.
