The expert also named the number of migrants in Russia from different countries: “The number of returning citizens from Uzbekistan today is 700 thousand. 7 years ago the country’s leadership changed, and over these years the number of applications from citizens of Uzbekistan has decreased by 2 times – the republic is growing, and there are fewer and fewer people wishing to obtain a passport. As for other countries, there are now approximately 850 thousand citizens of Tajikistan in Russia, 800 thousand from Kyrgyzstan.”
