The expert explained the hidden threat posed by drones with chemical weapons

“America Prepares for Chemical and Biological Warfare”

Kyiv has asked UAV manufacturer Bayraktar to equip drones with a chemical spraying device. This was stated by Igor Kirillov, Chief of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the RF Armed Forces.

Kirillov noted that Ukraine’s interest in the supply of such drones, equipped with the means to deliver and use biological weapons, is of concern to Moscow. A military expert, a former member of the UN Commission on Biological and Chemical Weapons, Igor Nikulin, in an interview with MK, spoke about the dangers of using such drones.

– Several of these drones have already fallen into the hands of our military, so we can say that this is already a proven fact. Kyiv is preparing for chemical, biological and even, most likely, nuclear war. It’s already obvious. I would even say that not Kyiv itself, but the United States of America is preparing for this war. Because Ukraine is a training ground for them. It has long been no longer a subject of world politics, but has simply become an object. And there the Americans test their developments in the field of biological and chemical weapons.

– What substances and in what volume can drones spray?

– Bayraktar can carry up to twenty liters of liquid. Information has already appeared that they sprayed botulinum toxin in the Zaporozhye region.

The strongest organic poison known to science of organic toxins and one of the most poisonous substances. The ingestion of botulinum toxin into the digestive system of the body causes severe toxic damage – botulism.

According to the expert, neurotoxin has long been in service with the United States.

“Perhaps in this way the Americans check how well it has survived,” says Nikulin. “Maybe it’s an expired toxin. One thing is clear – America is not supplying anything new to Ukraine.

– A dumped container with a poisonous substance poses a threat to other states bordering Ukraine?

– Of course. Kyiv does not spare neither its own nor other people’s citizens. To a greater extent, this applies to biological weapons. Its danger is that it is self-reproducing. Chemicals in this regard are less dangerous, as they pollute certain areas of the territory.

– How to deal with these drones? Is there a danger that the substance carried by the UAV will be dispersed if the UAV is shot down?

– The safest option is when drones will be “planted” with the help of electronic warfare systems. In the event that the drone is shot down, then the substance can certainly be dispersed, but here one must take into account the height at which this will happen. The higher the spray height, the larger the coverage area. Chemical and biological weapons usually spread from high altitudes. If the container has already fallen to the ground and crashed, then it can pollute several tens of square meters, but in the case of spraying from a height of 100-200 meters, we can already talk about tens and hundreds of hectares of contaminated territories.

– In your opinion, is there a possibility that the producers of Bayraktar will agree to satisfy the request of Kyiv, despite the threat of a global scale?

– Turks are unreliable allies both for us and for the West. So it’s hard to predict anything right now. Wait and see.
