On a live broadcast at the MK press center, dedicated to school fees in 2023, Anna Vovk, a member of the Council on Financial, Industrial and Investment Policy of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, told what determines the cost of stationery in the regions of Russia.
“It is stated that the standard set has risen in price by 9%,” says Anna Vovk. – If you look at the growth dynamics of stationery or clothing over the year, it is already much higher there – from 20% to 40%, depending on the category. The main goods come to Moscow and St. Petersburg, so prices here should be optimal. And then there is distribution throughout Russia, so here the prices depend on the assortment and the proximity of the regions. Goods mainly come from eastern countries – China and Korea. 9% is a nice figure, but to be honest, I don’t really believe in it, looking at the statistics.”
