The scandalous resignation of the Hungarian President will not cause problems for Russia, political scientist Pavel Danilov said in a conversation with Izvestia.
Earlier, Hungarian President Katalin Nowak resigned. Euronews reports this, citing the politician’s appeal to the people. Novak explained her resignation by popular outrage over the erroneous pardon of a pedophile. This story had a huge resonance in Hungary.
“In Hungary, the political system is not the same as ours; they are headed by a prime minister, not a president. The president there, as in Germany, has more representative functions than political ones,” Danilov said.
