Another medical board did not find a heart defect in the young man
30,000 rubles were sued from the main clinical military hospital of the FSB by a student who was expelled from the educational institution due to an incorrect diagnosis. The young man was diagnosed with a heart defect, which later mysteriously disappeared.
As MK found out, in 2015 Alexander (his name has been changed) entered the Golitsyn Border Institute of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation with a degree in Border Activities. During the mandatory medical examination, the student was diagnosed with Minor aortic insufficiency with regurgitation of the 1st degree (in other words, heart disease). In this regard, the military medical commission recognized him as partially fit for military service, after which Alexander was expelled from the university.
The expulsion was a shock for the young man, because studying at the FSB Institute was his dream. Alexander was preparing for admission for a long time, as he wanted to serve the Motherland, protecting state borders. He studied diligently throughout the 11th grade, devoted his free time to physical training, constantly attended events at the Directorate of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Adygea. According to the student, the expulsion led to a deterioration in his health, he developed sleep disorders, weakness, headaches, depression, etc. The guy felt resentment and disappointment, and also, on the advice of doctors, took drugs to support the heart muscle.
In 2018, he entered the Scientific and Educational Medical and Technological Center of the Moscow State Technical University. Bauman. For distribution to the discipline “physical culture” he had to go through a medical examination again. Alexander was sent for an echocardiographic study to a cardiologist. However, the new diagnosis of specialists refuted the previous one: the doctors told the young man that he had no heart disease.
Outraged that he was expelled for no reason, Alexander sued the main clinical military hospital of the FSB and demanded compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 1,300,000 rubles.
The court ordered a forensic medical examination. Having studied the materials of the case, the commission came to the conclusion that the plaintiff really did not have a heart defect, this diagnosis was made to him erroneously. The judge ruled that the student was entitled to compensation for non-pecuniary damage. However, she considered the requested amount too high and decided that the hospital should pay the patient 30,000 rubles for an incorrect diagnosis.
