The ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine said that Kyiv is not ready for winter

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said in his Telegram channel that the Ukrainian authorities have not prepared the necessary reserves of coal and gas for the heating season.
He clarified that at the moment Kyiv has stocked three to four times less coal than required. There is not enough electricity for all residents of Ukraine.
“Approximately 700 thousand tons have been prepared. The country’s energy system needs 1.8-3 million tons. I believe that the difficulties that have arisen cannot be attributed to the ongoing hostilities,” Azarov noted.
According to him, the energy system of Ukraine is absolutely not ready for winter. It will not provide the required amount of electricity and heat generation.
