In Moscow, for the grand opening of the escalator gallery on Sparrow Hills, children from the Center for Art Education of the Moscow Palace of Pioneers prepared works dedicated to their beloved city, the Moscow Department of Education and Science reports.
The guys drew Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, VDNH, the Bolshoi Theater, St. Basil’s Cathedral, Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov and the Moscow Palace of Pioneers. Children’s work can be seen in the lower lobby of the escalator gallery for a month.
“Our Art Education Center is a real world of children’s creativity: the guys here are engaged in all possible types of arts and crafts. Especially for the escalator gallery on Sparrow Hills, the center’s pupils created works in stained glass technique. We see here the view of young Muscovites on their city, on its familiar places and sights. I think that in the next month this exhibition will serve as a worthy decoration of the new infrastructure facility in our district,” said Elena Melville, director of the Vorobyovy Gory educational complex of the Moscow Department of Education and Science.
