The Russian energy holding summed up the results of its participation in the World Youth Festival in Sochi. The En+ press service reported that the group’s events were attended by more than 5 thousand guests from Russia, China, India, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries of the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

The company clarified that more than 500 people assembled electrical circuits and tested their knowledge in quizzes in physics, chemistry, geography and electrical engineering. The guests experienced the work of hydraulic engineers: the participants were divided into teams and competed in the construction of a cascade of hydroelectric power stations.

“Just the views of Siberia made me feel cold, but the size and power of your enterprises is amazing!” – a guest from Myanmar shared his impressions.

Governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev and Russian gymnast and Olympic champion Nikita Nagorny got acquainted with the exposition. The exhibition was also attended by the presenters of Autoradio “Murzilki”, Russian superheroes Baba Yaga and Ermak and representatives of the federal media.

In addition, more than 1.5 thousand people played the role of energy workers and took a professional orientation test using artificial intelligence. Testing identified a suitable direction for the industry. Viewers of the show “Energy” studied the Tesla coil. And more than 4,000 festival guests took memorable photographs with three-dimensional images of Siberian hydroelectric power stations in the interactive photo zone.

“I was very inspired by the opportunity to apply my knowledge acquired at my technical institute in practice at one of the En+ enterprises. Ideally, I would like to implement some kind of robotic project that will help improve production processes,” a participant from Russia admired the event.
