The eighth Russian Swimming Championships for persons with musculoskeletal disorders took place in Krasnodar. 300 people competed for medals in the competition. Swimmers came to the Kuban capital from 39 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Kuban was represented by 8 athletes at the tournament. These are swimmers from Krasnodar, Anapa and the Slavyansk municipality. Each of them has awards and titles of record holders, champions, and prize-winners of various levels in their personal collection.

Deputy Minister of Physical Education and Sports of Kuban Alexey Ivanov said that the country’s national adaptive sports teams include 122 people. Last year, representatives of the region won 411 awards at international competitions, championships, championships and Russian Cups in various sports.
