These categories of pensioners will receive their January pensions at the end of December, Ivanova-Shvets said.
She also noted that from January 1, 2024, insurance pensions for non-working pensioners receiving disability and survivor pensions will be indexed by 7.5%
It was previously reported that Russians who stopped working in September, as well as those who have reached 80 years of age, will receive an increase in pensions in December. In January, all pensions of non-working pensioners will be increased by 7.5%. Thus, with a pension of 20 thousand rubles, the monthly payment will increase by about 1,500 per month, and by about 18 thousand rubles per year. Accordingly, the growth will be greater with larger pension amounts.
