The State Duma adopted a law allowing the security forces and private security companies to stop the movement of any drones
The State Duma adopted in the third final reading a law on the right of law enforcement agencies, departmental security structures and private security companies to stop the movement of any UAVs. This is stated on the website of the lower house of parliament.
Now it is possible to stop drones in case of a threat to the life and health of people, as well as the safety of protected objects.
The new law gives departments the right to stop the movement of not only UAVs, but also robotic equipment used on land or water. In particular, it is allowed to destroy and damage drones, as well as to suppress or convert remote control signals. It is clarified that the authorities will be granted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Russian Guard, the FSO, the SVR, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the GUSP and private security.
