She explained that “in order to fall asleep, you need some kind of physical activity, physical fatigue.” According to her, “if a person spent the whole day in a chair near the TV, this is not enough for a good sleep.”

You shouldn’t eat before going to bed, but you shouldn’t starve either, the doctor said.

It is important to ventilate the bedroom “because it is less comfortable to sleep in a hot room than in a cool one,” Chernyshova concluded.
