It is better to overcome stress with the help of a number of products, Andrey Bobrovsky, a dietitian, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the medical faculty of St. Petersburg State University, said in an interview with Sputnik radio.
He noted that some of them help to cope with psycho-emotional overload much easier, and properly selected nutrition will not allow the body to become exhausted.
Bobrovsky recommended foods high in magnesium, zinc, omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, folic acid.
Among these foods are strawberries, oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, avocados, and greens, especially spinach. He also recommended that berries, fruits and greens make up about a quarter of the diet, he said.
Other products that will help to endure stress, the doctor called quail eggs, nuts and fatty fish – herring, mackerel, herring.
At the same time, the doctor did not recommend limiting yourself to nutritional balancing during stress, and advised you to contact specialists to find out the root cause.
