The Dmitry Sautin Academy will appear on Lomonosov Street in Voronezh

Construction of the sports complex named after the two-time Olympic champion in diving is planned to begin in 2025. This became known at a meeting between Governor Alexander Gusev and honorary citizen of the city of Voronezh – athlete Dmitry Sautin.
The Academy will include:
- jumping pool,
- swimming pool,
- Gym,
- jumping hall,
- fencing site.
The head of the region informed the winner of eight Olympic awards that a site for construction has already been allocated on Lomonosov Street, 124. The investor, builder, and developer will be the Evgeniy Khamin Group of Companies. Dmitry Sautin will oversee the project.
It will take at least a year to design a grandiose object. Construction is planned to begin in 2025 and finish in 2027.
Dmitry Sautin recently turned 50 years old. Of these, the last 18 he waited for his idea of the Academy to come to life. We would like to remind you that discussions about the allocation of land for a swimming pool have been going on since 2006.
