The Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, created by decree of Vladimir Putin in 2023, has so far helped with the employment of 6,000 former military personnel. As the chairman of the foundation, Anna Tsivileva, said in the new episode of the show “Let me say!”, universities are actively engaged in retraining soldiers and officers.

According to Tsivileva, the foundation’s employees help veterans of the Northern Military District and their families adapt to everyday life. Specialists help veterans, including with prosthetics, provide psychological assistance, assistance in professional retraining and training in new specialties.

The foundation noted that within the framework of the national project “Time of Heroes”, the country’s new leadership team and the new elite of Russia are being formed from former soldiers.
