A film landing party landed in the city of Pushkin, in the Leningrad region, the most striking participant of which was a red corgi named Truffle. The dog has an important role in the new detective series and a star partner in the person of Alexei Makarov.
According to the plot of the project, Makarov’s hero leads a search and detention group at the Central Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. If you are meticulous about the facts, then such a structure does not exist, but the writers of the series apparently found it interesting the idea of working a unit whose functions include hunting down especially dangerous criminals.
Russian serial detective stories can be safely divided into two parts: in the first there is a dark drama, in the second they try to exploit jokes. Alexey Makarov, as well as Oleg Almazov, Alexander Nesterov, Artem Suchkov and other actors involved in the project will have to joke, and often with completely serious faces.
According to the director of the series, Viktor Konisevich, the scriptwriters provided a peculiar mix of brutal crimes and their investigations, in which there are many comical situations. However, if there are corgis on the site, it is naive to count on absolutely serious developments.
The filming locations of the series are quite consistent with the recent fashion for the Baltic flair of the outskirts of St. Petersburg. The project team will make a short trip to the iconic locations of the Leningrad region, and after Pushkin the film crew will move to Kronstadt.
