Defender Umar Sako moved to FC Rostov from the Bulgarian Arda Kardzhali. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the footballer will play for the “yellow-blues” until the end of June 2024.
The 27-year-old athlete began his career in his homeland in Cote d’Ivoire. In 2021, Umar moved to the Qatari Al-Kharitiyat, and in 2022 he signed a contract with FC LASK from Austria.
This season, Umar Sako took the field in the Bulgarian championship 20 times. He has two goals and an assist.
If the defender shows himself confidently in the Russian Premier League matches, it is possible that the “yellow-blues” will offer him a long-term contract.
