The decomposing carcass of a huge strange creature washed up on a beach in Malaysia

The decomposing carcass of an unidentified creature was discovered on the coast of Malaysia. Information about this appeared in a local publication The New Sarawak Tribune. The washed-up remains were spotted on Lundu Beach, which is located in the city and capital of the district of the same name in the northwestern state of Sarawak.

Local rescuers discovered the carcass and shared this discovery on their social media account. Photos of the remains were published, causing great interest among local residents. Although experts believed it to be the remains of a whale, the extensive decomposition made it difficult to determine the exact species of the creature.

LiveScience reports that the size of the carcass is gigantic, and it resembles a globster – an organic mass difficult to identify due to the degree of decomposition. Globsters have always attracted the attention of curious people because they are mysterious and deformed. Sailors over time have claimed to have encountered various terrifying creatures at sea.

Previously, a similar mysterious animal was found on a UK beach. Identification of the creature was difficult due to the absence of a head and tail, as well as protruding bones from the skin. Users compared the remains to a seal, a walrus and a giant dolphin. Scientists suggested that it could be a minke whale – a whale from the minke whale family.
