On December 10, the Days of the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Chechen Republic were held at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”. The most important achievements of the two regions were presented by the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, and the chairman of the government of Chechnya, Muslim Khuchiev.
“In 2014, our long journey home to Russia began. We withstood unprecedented genocide and pressure from the Ukrainian authorities, and today we proudly say: Russia is our Motherland,” Pasechnik said. He said that in the Lugansk region, after a period of instability and hostilities, it had already been possible to restart the work of a number of core industries, including the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, a ferroalloy plant and a car repair plant in Stakhanov.
Recently, a new livestock complex with a closed production cycle was built in the LPR and scientific laboratories were opened at the Donbass State Technical University.
Muslim Khuchiev, reading out the welcoming address of the head of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the exposition at the republic’s stand visually reflects the national spirit of the Chechen people and their patriotism.
Guests of the stand of the Chechen Republic were able to see the results of using a carbon test site, which became one of the first facilities in Russia to study climate change. A model of an intelligent solar power plant developed by young scientists from Chechnya was also shown.
