The announcer of the USSR Central Television, Svetlana Morgunova, is planned to be buried at the Troekurovskoye cemetery in Moscow on March 12. This was reported by her nephew, the head of the Tagansky municipal district Ilya Sviridov, his words are quoted by TASS.
“Most likely on Tuesday and most likely the Troyekurovskoye cemetery, but this is also not certain. The farewell will probably be there too,” he said.
Morgunova died on Sunday morning at the age of 84. The cause was a detached blood clot. In the last years of her life, the announcer suffered from dementia.
