The Czech Republic is having problems providing assistance to Ukraine
[ad_1]
It is becoming increasingly difficult for the Czech Republic to find funds to provide military and other assistance to Ukraine, reports euractiv.com.
The Czech Republic encountered financial difficulties already in June during an increase in contributions to the European fund, from which EU assistance to Kyiv is partially financed, the publication says. There are reportedly doubts in the country’s foreign policy circles about the Czech Republic’s ability to cope with large-scale sponsorship of foreign measures.
Russian politicians have repeatedly stated that pumping arms into Ukraine may prolong the conflict and increase the number of victims, but will not prevent Russia from achieving its goals.
