In the Primorsky Territory, a criminal case was closed against the director of the Yunost children’s health camp, Natalia Chepeleva, the decision was made in connection with the reconciliation of the parties, she said in her Telegram channel joint press service of the judicial system of the region. The defense side petitioned for the termination of the criminal prosecution, the victims did not object.
The case was opened in August 2022. At that time, more than 40 children and several adults from the Yunost summer camp were hospitalized, and norovirus was detected in all of them. The director was charged with providing services that did not meet safety requirements (part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Her sent under house arrest.
“The Artyomovsk city court, having examined the materials of the criminal case, dismissed the criminal case against Chepeleva. The basis was the reconciliation of Chepeleva with the victims, her reparation for material and moral damage caused by the crime, and the absence of claims, ”the report says.
