The criminal case of preparing the murder of TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov was transferred to court. This is reported in the telegram channel of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation.
“According to the investigation, in October 2021, the accused Andrei Pronsky created a cell of the neo-Nazi group NS/WP, banned in Russia, which he publicly announced in order to attract supporters, and also created a thematic channel in the messenger,” the department indicated.
Timofey Mokiy, Vladimir Stepanov, Vladimir Belyakov, Andrey Volkov, Maxim Druzhinin, Vasily Strizhakov and some other persons were involved in the activity.
The attackers purchased materials to make explosive devices and ammunition. Between December 2021 and April 2022, they set fire to a military registration and enlistment office, four cars and a household in Moscow, the Moscow and Tver regions. In April 2022, the GUR offered them to kill Solovyov for a reward.
It is noted that the attackers planned to blow up his car, but they failed to complete their plan. They were detained by FSB officers.
