The first deputy general director and head of the operational dispatch department of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Krymenergo” lost their posts due to unsatisfactory work during the elimination of the consequences of the storm in Crimea, said the head of the region, Sergei Aksenov.
According to him, more than a million people were left without electricity on the peninsula due to bad weather. At the same time, many citizens could not reach the hotline or contact officials directly using social networks. Also, Aksenov noted, the process of restoring the supply of electricity carried out by Krymenergo was excessively delayed, including due to the fact that the heads of some regional branches and head divisions of the enterprise failed to cope with their responsibilities.
“A number of personnel decisions were made, including the dismissal of the first deputy general director – technical director and head of the operational dispatch department of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymenergo,”— wrote the head of the region in his Telegram channel.
According to the official site enterprise, the post of deputy general director was held by Alexander Pchelintsev. The position of the second director is not disclosed.
By data The Investigative Committee for Crimea and Sevastopol, the ex-head of Krymenergo, Andrei Tsurkanenko, is accused of exceeding his official powers, in particular, of developing a criminal scheme through which an unofficial commission was created to check electricity meters.
