The Crimean bridge was on the cover of a textbook initiated by Putin

The image of the bridge across the Kerch Strait appeared on the cover of a history textbook for grades 10-11 at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armen Gasparyan, First Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Enlightenment and Education of the Public Chamber, said.
Speaking on Sputnik in Crimea radio, Gasparyan said that in a conversation with members of the commission, Putin asked if the new textbook contained information about the Crimean bridge.
Later it turned out that the information contained in the textbook about Crimea reveals the events that took place in 2014 and earlier. Upon learning of this, Putin noted that the creation of a bridge across the Kerch Strait for Russia is a landmark event.
“Therefore, the fact that he was included on the cover does not surprise me at all,” Gasparyan said.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who became one of the authors of a new history textbook, said that the textbook would contain information about a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
