Moscow court refuses house arrest for pensioner who interfered with elections
The Lublinsky court of Moscow did not choose a preventive measure for a pensioner who tried to interfere with the elections. Previously, the prosecutor asked the court to place the woman under house arrest.
The court rejected the petition to impose a preventive measure on the person involved in the case. When considering this issue, the pensioner’s health was taken into account, as well as her advanced age, remorse and admission of guilt.
The woman was accused under Article 141 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Obstruction of the work of election commissions.” What exactly the pensioner did is unknown. After the court hearing she was sent home.
