The court refused to transfer the blogger’s husband Lerchek under house arrest

The Presnensky Court of Moscow refused to satisfy the petition of the investigation to transfer Artem Chekalin, the husband of Valeria Chekalina, known online as Lerchik, under house arrest.

Earlier, as a preventive measure against Chekalin, who is accused of tax evasion and money laundering, the court issued a ban on certain actions. The Investigative Committee considered that he violated the restrictions by communicating with his mother-in-law, who is a witness in the money laundering case, and demanded a tougher punishment .
