The Moscow Arbitration Court recovered more than 580 thousand rubles from the Moscow night club Mutabor. for debts related to songs used at the establishment’s events. The lawsuit was filed by the Russian Authors’ Society (RAO) against Art Center LLC (owner of the Mutabor trademark).

It is alleged that the defendant failed to pay royalties for music tracks that were played during the Shelter, Outline Festival pre-event, SO ICY, Pyrokmesis and 8-u events between 2022 and 2023.

On December 21, TV presenter Anastasia Ivleeva organized a party at the Mutabor club with an almost naked dress code. Footage from the event drew criticism from a number of officials. Representatives of “Call of the People” and the Federal Project for Security and Anti-Corruption asked the Prosecutor General’s Office to check the party for LGBT propaganda. In January, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow found Art Center LLC guilty under Art. 6.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements) and suspended its activities for 90 days.
