Vice-President of the Alliance of Russian Travel Agencies Aleksan Mkrtchyan on radio “TVNZ“said why Russians should not expect cheap tours to Turkey in 2024.
Earlier, information appeared in the media that the management of Turkish hotels would reduce the cost of accommodation. According to some reports, hotels have already fallen in price by 20%. However, the expert himself is sure that this is false information.
According to Mkrtchyan, Turkish hoteliers did not reduce the price, but could only bring it closer to the level before the announcement of high prices last year. He emphasized that Russians could see either the same prices or even higher.
The vice-president of the travel agent alliance added that the number of tourists from Russia to Turkey has decreased significantly in recent years. Last year, Turkish hotels missed about a million vacationers. The expert is confident that in 2024 there will be a similar picture.
