On Tuesday, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow received a petition for the arrest of a person suspected of committing high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
As it became known to MK, we are talking about a certain citizen Babkin. The investigative department of the FSB of the Russian Federation came out with a petition. Interestingly, in 2003, Anatoly Babkin, a professor at Bauman Moscow State Technical University, received 8 years probation for high treason – he was accused of transferring data to a retired US naval intelligence officer, Edmond Pope. But in this case, we are talking about his namesake: the patronymics of the Babkins do not match.
