In Prague, a court will hear a criminal case against a teacher who tried to justify Russia’s military actions in Ukraine in an eighth grade drawing class, claiming it was a justifiable way for the Russian leadership to handle the situation.
Now the teacher faces from 6 months to 3 years in prison under the article “genocide denial”. The school management decided to fire the employee.
In addition, the teacher said that the Ukrainian Nazi groups in the Donbas have been systematically exterminating the Russian population since 2014. Later, she tried to explain her position in the media, claiming that children have limited information about what is happening in Ukraine, and she tried to correct this by telling them only verified facts.
