Moscow court fines Twitch another 3 million rubles for not removing fakes about CBO
A justice of the peace in Moscow imposed an administrative fine of 3 million rubles on Twitch video service, which is a subsidiary of Amazon Corporation, for not deleting information that is subject to restriction.
According to the decision of the magistrate of court district No. 422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow, Timur Vakhrameev, Twitch Interactive Inc was sentenced to an administrative fine of 3 million rubles. The service was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“failure to delete information to be deleted”).
The materials of the case of an administrative offense indicate that the service is charged with failure to remove, at the request of Roskomnadzor, video and text content that contains information about gambling and online casinos, as well as unreliable data on a special military operation (SVO) on the territory of Ukraine.
Earlier on Tuesday, Twitch was fined 4 million rubles for a similar offense.
