Deripaska wins a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against Pevchikh – Kommersant

The Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow partially satisfied businessman lawsuit Oleg Deripaska to the head of the investigation department of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (recognized as an extremist organization and banned, a foreign agent, liquidated) Maria Pevchikh (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent) on the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation, should from the case file. Mr. Deripaska was dissatisfied with her words that he participated in loans-for-shares auctions in the 1990s. According to the court decision, Mrs. Pevchikh must publish a refutation on the Popular Politics YouTube channel and in the Kommersant newspaper.
“We believe that Pevchikh deliberately spread false information about Oleg Deripaska in order to harm his reputation,” Melnikov told TASS.
In 2022, Mr. Deripaska filed a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against opposition leader Alexei Navalny, his associates Georgy Alburov (recognized as a foreign agent) and Maria Pevchikh, as well as The Insider (recognized as a foreign agent and undesirable organization), Associated Newspapers Limited (publisher of the Daily Mail) and Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy. The reason was a video on Navalny’s YouTube channel “Yachts, bribes and a mistress. What Minister Lavrov is hiding” containing “false information that was spread by foreign media”. Court action satisfied and ordered to refute the information.
