In Moscow, a court sentenced to 16 years in prison the perpetrator of the murder of crime boss Alik Ryzhy (Albert Geydarov) in 2021 in a Moscow fitness club. The motive for the crime was the redistribution of spheres of influence, according to the press service of the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
The court sentenced 38-year-old Matlab Sultanov to imprisonment for a term of 16 years in a strict regime colony.
Heydarov was killed in April 2021 in the north-west of Moscow in a fitness club in the Scarlet Sails residential complex. The crime boss was shot while he was doing cardio.
