The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow fined the writer Dmitry Bykov (recognized as a foreign agent) 10 thousand rubles. for participation in the activities of an undesirable organization. The writer’s lawyer Vasily Kushnir said TASSthat the reason for initiating the case was an interview with the publication “Novaya Gazeta Europe” (recognized as an undesirable organization).
“Dmitry Lvovich Bykov was given a fine of 10 thousand rubles. Bykov D.L. brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 20.33 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation,” reported press service Moscow courts.
Dmitry Bykov’s lawyer explained that the court regarded the writer’s conversation with the publication as cooperation with an undesirable organization. In December 2023, the court fined him 40 thousand rubles. for not labeling a foreign agent on social networks. Currently, the writer is not in Russia.
