The court arrested two men on suspicion of scalping a guy in Elektrostal

Until September 10, the court arrested two men on suspicion of attacking a 19-year-old boy near the Krasnoye and Beloe store in the town of Elektrostal near Moscow. According to investigators, they scalped the guy because of his green Mohawk and ran away, leaving the young man to bleed.

“Taking into account the position of the prosecutor’s office, the court chose a measure of restraint in relation to the suspects in the form of detention for a period until September 10, 2023,” the statement reads. Telegram channel Prosecutor’s Office of the Moscow Region.

Both suspects pleaded guilty. One of them asked the court for house arrest, the second did not ask to choose another topic of restraint.

A criminal case has been initiated under the article on hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), as well as on intentional infliction of harm to health of moderate severity out of hooligan motives (clauses “d”, “e”, “h”, part 2 of article 112 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The young man was attacked on July 9 on Sportivnaya Street in Elektrostal near the Red and White store. The guy approached two strangers and asked for a smoke, they began to insult him because of his hairstyle – a green Mohawk. They attacked him with a knife, cut off his hair along with his skin and left him to bleed.

On July 10, the first attacker, a native of Komi, born in 1999, was detained. On July 11, the second attacker was detained: at first his identity was unknown, later it became known that he was a citizen of Tajikistan. According to the investigation, one of them had previously been prosecuted for robbery and theft.
