The court arrested the accounts of ex-Deputy Minister of Energy Pyotr Nidzelsky

During the consideration of the criminal case against the former Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pyotr Nidzelsky, the Moscow Meshchansky Court decided to impose interim measures on his bank accounts.
According to TASS, 9.5 million rubles, 110 thousand US dollars and more than 233 thousand euros are stored in these accounts. The total amount is 41.85 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
The press service of the court explained that interim measures were taken in connection with Nidzelsky’s accusations of particularly large-scale fraud. In addition, by decision of the Meshchansky District Court, the period of house arrest for the former Deputy Minister of Energy was extended.
