The Basmanny Court of Moscow issued a petition for the arrest of Alexander Lazovsky, one of those accused of organizing a tour of underground Moscow on August 20. As a result of the downpour that began during the excursion, the guide and seven tourists died.
As MK previously reported, Lazovsky headed the Avangard company. Through this company, gift certificates were sold for a walk through the dungeons with diggers. Immediately after it became known about the tragedy in the sewer, Lazovsky left for Russia – according to some reports, he went to the UAE. He was charged in absentia under Article 238, Part 3 “c” of the Criminal Code (providing services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of 2 or more people), and he is wanted.
