Court arrested politician Leonid Gozman, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent, for 15 days for a post in 2013, in which he identifies the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
We are talking about the publication in the “LiveJournal”, and Gozman denies that he did it. It was a column on Ekho Moskvy. The politician condemned the release of the series “SMERSH”. He stated that this reconnaissance unit differed from the SS only by the absence of a beautiful uniform.
Then the State Duma deputies demanded that Gozman be fired from Rusnano, and that such statements be held liable.
The statute of limitations had already expired, but the police found the post and drew up a protocol for it. Law enforcement officers expect that the politician will be convicted under the article on re-identification. However, the court did not find any grounds for this.
Gozman claims that his case is custom-made and the controversial post was specifically found at the end of his arrest. The police simply could not collect materials for the criminal case.
