Researchers have found that the first kiss between partners can define a relationship if it evokes a “magical” feeling. Researchers have found that the first kiss between partners can define the overall relationship if it evokes “magical” feelings or turns the moment into a romantic spot.

Scientists have concluded that where such strong feelings are caused by a “good kiss”, it can lead to a better love marriage.

According to the Daily Mail, the study, which involved nearly 450 subjects, used a set of 14 questions to assess what scientists called “idealized ideas about a first kiss” among current partners, and whether the big moment lived up to their expectations. .

Questions included: to what extent did you feel like the whole world around you was blurry during your first kiss; to what extent should your first kiss give you butterflies in your stomach; and to what extent was your first kiss magical?

The results show that the more partners value their first meeting, the more romantic the relationship is.

One theory is that lovers become more optimistic about their future together, reinforcing the feeling that they have found true love.

‘These results suggest that idealized expectations of a first kiss with a current romantic partner are important predictors of love,’ said researchers from the University of Minnesota.

Their study, published in the journal Frontiers of Psychology, acknowledges the risk of “memory bias” as couples are more likely to romanticize memories of their first kiss.

Participants who were “well past the courtship phase” had probably forgotten what expectations they had up to that point.

However, couples about to date could benefit from high expectations from that first kiss, as it could enhance their entire experience of romantic love, the study suggests.
