Figure skater Simonova, who hit her head on the ice, returned to training
Figure skater Maria Simonova returned to training after hitting her head on the ice as a result of a fall at the tournament. The young athlete herself reported this: “I have already gradually started training.” “I feel great,” Simonova wrote.
Simonova fell on January 24 while performing a short program at the competition for the prizes of the President of the Moscow Figure Skating Federation. Her partner Martin Breslavsky could not hold her during the lift. As a result, the 14-year-old athlete hit her head on the ice. Despite the serious fall, the couple continued to perform.
Later it became known that Simonova was hospitalized, and on January 26 she was discharged from the hospital.
