The Communist Party of the Russian Federation sends ex-State Duma deputy Valery Rashkin to Saratov and removes him from party registration in Moscow. The corresponding decision was made at the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
“There is a party decision to send him to the Saratov organization in which he worked, showed himself actively and has the opportunity for further active party work,” commented the press secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, State Duma deputy Alexander Yushchenko. According to him, this is necessary to strengthen the work of the Saratov organization.
State Duma deputy and first secretary of the Saratov regional committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Olga Alimova noted that she had not seen the decision of the presidium, but denied assumptions that this was related to his criminal punishment for illegal hunting. “He is registered in Moscow, he must then leave Moscow and register. What’s the point? He doesn’t work or live in Saratov,” Ms. Alimova noted.
Let us remind you that the deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin was convicted in April 2022 of illegal hunting by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. In 2021, on the territory of the Lebedka hunting farm in the Lysogorsk district of the Saratov region. Fragments of a moose carcass were found in the trunk of the deputy’s vehicle. At first, Mr. Rashkin denied involvement in the killing of the animal, but later admitted guilt. On November 25, the State Duma lifted the immunity of the deputy and also allowed criminal and administrative cases to be initiated against him due to illegal hunting. He was sentenced to three years probation. In May 2022, the State Duma will deprived his parliamentary powers. Later cassation left the sentence of ex-State Duma deputy Valery Rashkin is in force, and the Moscow City Court overturned Rashkin’s parole denial and returned him a petition due to mistakes.
