Akhra Avidzba, field commander of the Pyatnashka brigade of the People’s Militia of the DPR, said that, according to available estimates, the Armed Forces of Ukraine gathered from 60,000 to 80,000 servicemen for a counteroffensive, reports URA.RU.
About half of the Ukrainian military who are expected to take part in the counteroffensive were trained in the West, but they, according to Avidzba, will refuse to attack because they do not want to “be meat.”
Russian troops do not attach any importance to Kyiv’s statements regarding the strength of Ukrainian troops in the counteroffensive, the brigade commander said.
