The military command of the Ukrainian army began inspections against the 67th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the failure in the direction of Chasy Yar in the DPR. This was reported by the Ukrayinska Pravda publication.
“After the loss of some positions in the direction of Chasov Yar, where heavy fighting has been going on since the beginning of 2024, checks began in the 67th separate mechanized brigade “Volunteer Ukrainian Corps” (DUK),” says the message published by the publication.
It is also noted that it is planned to transfer the military, who were the “skeleton of the unit.”
According to media reports, military leadership at various levels were interested in why such an elite unit was “sagging” in this direction. During the inspections, it turned out that there were problems within the brigade itself.
