An Iranian television company showed a video of fires in Chile in a report about an attack on Israel
The Israeli Foreign Ministry accused Iranian television of creating propaganda fakes about an attempted night air strike.
The department’s statement cites a report from the Iranian state television company IRINN, which showed footage of a large fire. The footage presented by the television company showed a large glow from the flame; the filming was carried out at night. However, as stated in the Israeli Foreign Ministry, these were not the consequences of the past attack, but a recording of forest fires in Chile in February of this year.
The attack on Israel from Iran was carried out using approximately three hundred drones, cruise and ballistic missiles. The IDF said on the morning of April 14 that 99% of air targets were destroyed, most on approach to the country. Tehran said that during the operation “all goals achieved”and that the attack is complete.
